#GANZFELD (2017) is a series of try-out audiovisual performative set-ups based on a principle of Ganzfeld effect.
Ganzfeld effect is an exercise in perceptual deprivation and a phenomenon of perception caused by the exposure to a uniform field of colour with a potential to alter perception and appearance of hallucinations.
In the original try-outs of the work through the white goggles, participants could perceive themselves to be immersed in borderless colourful spaces. The addition of the coloured shapes within the projected uniform fields together with an audio narration was a breakage of the usual Ganzfeld patterns and is a compositional gateway towards altered cinematic experience.
